Raising money for St. Catherine’s Hospice

The team from Pinks Funeral Directors in Hamsey Green have been raising money for St. Catherine’s Hospice at the annual Caterham Carnival.

Funeral Arranger Karen Rattigan and Sonia Hunt, who volunteers at Pinks, donated bags, scarfs and jewellery to the Tandridge Friends stall which was alongside Pinks’ horse and carriage.

The items sold raised £625 for the hospice, which provides end of life care and advice for people in West Sussex and East Surrey.

Karen said: “The day was great fun and I went along to see the procession off at the Barracks. People were able to have their photos taken with our horses and the person who held the winning ticket got to have a ride in the carriage.

“I am over the moon with how much money was raised and I look forward to continuing fundraising for the hospice in the future, because the work it does is absolutely incredible.”
