Community Activities
Pinks Funeral Directors is proud to support Read Easy Croydon (part of Read Easy UK) as a recipient in the first cycle of funding from the Pinks Funeral Directors Community Fund.
The Community Fund was established to support local initiatives that make a meaningful difference, and Read Easy Croydon is a powerful example of this in action. The organisation is dedicated to helping adults learn to read, providing life-changing support that builds confidence, independence, and new opportunities.
Through this funding, Read Easy Croydon will be able to onboard up to three new coach and reader pairs. This will enable more adults in the local community to access one-to-one support, helping them develop vital literacy skills that can have a lasting impact on their daily lives.
At Pinks Funeral Directors, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve, and we recognise the importance of organisations like Read Easy Croydon in creating positive, lasting change. We look forward to following their journey and seeing the difference this funding will make.
